Our “U-Pick” Farm<\/h2>\n

On our website you will find information about our farm, information about our cookbook, planting instructions, directions, and other useful information.<\/p>\n

Our farm is a\u00a0U-pick\u00a0<\/em>farm and welcomes everyone! During the season we are open every day except\u00a0Wednesday, and our hours are 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. All of our berries are sold by the gallon and we supply one gallon containers to use in the fields. However, you should bring a large container or box to carry your berries home.<\/p>\n

You will also find information about our unique blueberry recipe book (with over 150 recipes!), various brochures, and other items of interest.<\/p>\n

For your convenience, we have a restroom and hand washing station, as well as drinking water, picnic tables, and a swing and lawn chairs for resting. We welcome groups and encourage you to bring your children. Our current price per gallon can be found on our Facebook page.<\/p>\n

Blueberry Favorites Cookbook<\/h4>\n

We now offer a Blueberry Farm official cookbook! <\/strong>Blueberry Favorites: 150 Blueberry Recipes<\/em> is an original cookbook with recipes compiled by the folks at the Blueberry Farm. With 150 of our favorite old-timey blueberry recipes ranging from cakes to liqueurs, it also contains handy hints for planting and caring for blueberry plants, and even health facts about the benefits of blueberries!<\/p>\n

The cookbook is a beautiful hardcover edition published by\u00a0Morris Press Cookbooks,\u00a0<\/strong>and comes with a\u00a0free\u00a0<\/em>e-book edition\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>with each purchase, so you can have these tasty and nutritious recipes anywhere you go! Blueberries<\/h4>\n

Blueberries have been long prized as great tasting and value-added fruit. They are low in calories, virtually fat free, a good source of fiber, and very high in antioxidants. Research has put blueberries at the top of a list of 40 fruits, juices and vegetables in antioxidant activity. Antioxidants neutralize the free radicals that contribute to heart disease and aging. Blueberries also contain over 40 cancer-preventive compounds, as well as vitamins C, E and beta carotene.<\/p>\n

Rabbiteye blueberries are the main fruit at our farm. We have approximately 1,000 plants of various varieties. Our blueberry season usually starts in July and continues through August.<\/strong> In addition to the berries, we usually offer a limited number of blueberry plants for sale from January through March.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our farm also offers muscadines for pick-your-own customers during the growing season. The season is from September to October.<\/strong><\/p>\n
